People Product is a wearable mixed media piece. Generic toy truck tires are sewn together to make a halter-top and belt. An aluminum label and thick chain with metal clasps fasten the piece onto the body. This piece illuminates the complexity of our relationship to the fashion industry—that despite our attempts to be unique, we are all commodities of mass production.
